Bisila Bokoko is the founder and chairperson of The Bisila Bokoko African Literacy Project (BBALP), a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote literacy among African people. She has focused her efforts on organizing people and resources to build modern libraries in Africa. BBALP is a non-profit, non-partisan international organization that is headquartered in NY with subsidiaries in Ghana, France and Spain.
